Willie Lewis Brown, 43, of Kennett, died Monday, April 13, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
Born January 15, 1965, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital at Haytik he was the son of Eddie Childress and the late Queenola Brown Swain. He attended Kennett Public Schools and was a minister.
Survivors include his father, Eddie Childress; three brothers, Jimmy Brown of Nashville, Tenn., Timmy Brown and wife, Denise, of Fresno, Calif., and Terry Brown of Kennett; five sisters, Leenola Brown Goodman and husband, James, of Louisville, Ky., Sally Brown Anthony, Carolyn Brown Herrod, Queenola Brown and Della Wilbourn Harrell, all of Kennett; and step-father, Flint Swain of Kennett.
In addition to his mother, Queen Brown Swain, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Brown.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Community Temple COGINC with Bishop D.L. Robinson officiating.
Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
