Pauline Josephine Cole

Pauline Josephine Cole, 83, of Paragould, Ark., died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

Born Feb. 21, 1925, in Hornersville, Mo., daughter of the late William and Bertha Wrather, she was retired from Monroe and was active in the Campground Quilting Club.

Survivors include two sons, Jingo Cole and wife, Marye Lou, of Kennett, and Russell Cole and wife, Pat, of Carrollton, Texas; three daughters, Pauletta Duvall and husband, Don, of Newark, Ohio, Carolyn Martin and husband, Larry, of Paragould, and Teresa Tomlinson and husband, Curtis, of Austin, Texas; a son-in-law, Glen Mobley, of Pocahontas, Ark.; two sisters, Lessie Cole, of Paragould and Betty Jo Hoskins, of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cole and one daughter, Ann Mobley.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, April 18, at the Phillips Funeral Home in Paragould.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 19, in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Harris and Everett Isom officiating.

Burial will follow in the Greene County Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harold Mikel, James Phelps, Ted Wince, Ron Elasivich, Dave Gugle, and Doug Jenkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Campgroud Quilting Club.
