Lois Colleen Harris, 79, of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Aug. 28, 1928, in Malden, daughter of the late Vernie Sage and Geneva Lois Green Deen, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gideon, Mo., and the American Legion Auxilliary.

On Sept. 20, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., she married Arthur Harris, Jr., who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Marcia Mitchell and husband, Steve, of Malden; one son, Rodney Harris and wife, Anna, of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Betty Higgins, of Malden; one grandson, Jeffrey Mitchell, of Malden and one great-granddaughter, Jordan Mitchell, of Malden.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Jean Harris and two brothers, Vernie Wayne and Charles "Bud" Deen.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Rice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
