Billy Joe Houart, son of John and Darlene Schmalfeldt Houart, was born Nov. 26, 1977, in Kennett and passed away April 4, 2008, at his residence in Senath, Mo., at the age of 30.

Survivors include his parents, John and Darlene of Senath; paternal grandmother, June Hodge, of Kennett; maternal grandmother, Juanita Schmalfedt, of Kennett; one son, Conner Houart and one daughter, Kayleigh Johnson, and their mother, Christy Houart, all of Senath; one brother, John Houart, Jr., and wife, Michelle, of Gideon, Mo.; one sister, Renee Sparks and husband, Nathan, of Caruth, Mo.; two nieces, Alexa Grissom and Sara Sparks; one nephew, Seth Houart, and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Kevin Sulllivan officiating.

Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Heath Christian, Jason Hook, Tony Houart, Mikey Lowry, Billy Swindle and Dustin Siebert.
