A Pemiscot County resident observed the rear spoiler of the vehicle sticking up out of the floodwaters at the southern end of Caruthersville.
Authorities contacted friends and relatives of McIntyre and those discussions led them to investigate at Steele. Authorities learned there might be physical evidence located in a dumpster at a business at Steele.
According to a statement released by Lt. Ryan Holder with the Pemiscot County Sheriff's office, when authorities pieced together the evidence they interviewed the two suspects and they later confessed to their involvement in the death of McIntyre.

if found guilty they should be given a very long sentence proberly life without parole
No, they should be lethally injected ASAPand save us taxpayers th money it costs to keep them in the penitentary for life. That is what they should do to all the murderers in the penitentary! An eye for an eye....
I think that all three were involved in the murder and i think that all three should be sentenced to life in prison without parole.Because they took an innocent life that we can never get back so the state should have theirs.Just HORRIBLE!!!!!!
I feel they all should die for what they did to Dary. He was a wondrful human being and a great father. Tell them to think about the children Amaya Mcintyre had just turned 4 a few days before they killed her father. She is a beautiful child who now wants to know why she can't talk to daddy anymore. He will never see her grow up, start her first day of school and many other of her accomplishments. God please show them no mercy for they have scarred my child for the rest of her life.
