Rodney A. McGinnis, 31, of LaCenter, Ky., died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at his residence.

Born Aug. 6, 1976, in Six Lakes, Mich., he was the son of Tina Allen and the late Max Paplau.

Survivors include two brothers, Mark McGinnis and Brandon Paplau; two sisters, Gina Rudd and Andrea Paplau and his mother, Tina Allen, of Hayti.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Mo., with the Rev. Dwayne Roberts officiating.
