Clara Lee Garland McMillian, 77, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at St. John's Medical Center in Springfield, Mo.
Born Nov. 9, 1930 in Malden, daughter of the late Leo and Melvina Kincade, she was a homemaker and a member of the First General Baptist Church in Malden.
On Nov. 9, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., she married Delmar Garland, who preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2004. She later married Bill McMillian in June of 2005, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Keith Garland and wife, Susie, of Clinton, Miss., and Jim Garland, of Springfield; two daughters, Teresa Chalk and husband, Johnny, of Portageville, Mo., and Sandra Crews and husband, Doyle, of Springfield; three sisters, Clarice Gregory, of Bernie, Mo., Charlotte Schrader, of Malden and Velta Snipes, of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Tommy Kincade, of Republic, Mo., and Mike Kincade, of Cortez, Colo.; four grandchildren, Bob Chalk, of Portageville, Melanie Davenport, of Springfield, Mo., Jennifer Garland, of Dexter and Matthew Garland, of Clinton, Miss., and two great-grandchildren, Kyle Sullivan, of Portageville and Carter James Davenport, of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Bud Kincade and one sister, Opal Ennis.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, April 4, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 5, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. David Wigger and Jonathan Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
