Lema L. Seymore, 94, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Caruthersville Nursing Center.

Born March 29, 1914, in White Oak., Mo., daughter of the late John and Stella Neely Norris, she was of the Nazarene faith.

On Dec. 7, 1942, in Kennett, she married Alphus Seymore, who preceded her in death . She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Householder.

Survivors include two sons, Lee Roy Seymore and Dr. James Seymore; one daughter, Melba Leykam; one brother, Doyle Householder; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 1, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti, Mo.
