Denver Gorman, 69, of Kennett, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born April 16, 1938, in Midridge, Mo., he was the son of the late James Alfred and Beulah Crabtree Gorman.
On Aug. 19, 1961, he married Mary Charlton, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Ray Gorman and Joe Gorman and wife, Selena, all of Kennett; one daughter, Shane Wilson, of Arbyrd, Mo.; six grandchildren, Sebastian and Stephan Smith, both of Mountain Home, Ark., Tiffany and Stephanie Blue and Tristan Gorman, all of Kennett and Kelton Wilson, of Arbyrd.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Loyd Gorman.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 1, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Brandon Burke, Buddy McElyea, David Crow, Jeff Bryant, David Simms, Ray Olson.
Honorary pallbearers were David Garner, Randy Wilburn and Bobby Joe Luttrell.
