Born Aug. 4, 1926, in Kennett, son of the late Ed and Minnie Mae Carter Finley, he was a carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include three sons, Dashal Finely and George Finley, Jr., both of Kennett and Don martin, of Piedmont, Mo.; two daughters, Nan Houchins and Trasu Duke, both of Kennett; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Tribble Finley and Jan martin; three brothers, Willard, Millard and Linney Finley and one sister, Dorothy Cannon.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Sunday, March 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Moody officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
