Born Oct. 30, 1914, in Senath, Mo., son of the late Doc and Mertie Long Killion, he was a farmer and a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden.
On Sept. 31, 1939, in Kennett, he married Elva Shelton, who preceded him in death on Sept. 16, 1980. He later married Earline Smith on July 12, 1991, in Bloomfield, Mo., who preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 2002. He was also preceded in death by one son, Harvey Gene Killion; one sister, Christine Wells and five brothers, Roy, Delza, Abe, Ira and Harry Killion.
Survivors include three daughters, Myrna Claussen and husband, Glenn, of Poplar bluff, Mo., Joan Tesreau, of Sikeston and Terry Wear and husband, Don, of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, Bruce Killion, of Malden; one sister, Imogene Klosterhoff, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Friday, March 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
