Jerry Bruce Secrest, 59, of Holcomb, Mo., died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Franklin County, Ark.
Born Sept. 26, 1948, in Mt. Union, Penn., son of the late Benjamin and Clara Dover Secrest, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam and a truck driver.
On Jan. 2, 1974, in Winter Garden, Fla., he married Diana Baltimore, who survives.
Survivors also include five daughters, Rinda Williams and husband, David, of Holcomb, Mary Cornman, of Campbell, Mo., Sherry Dollins and husband, David, of Kennett, Sherry Medlin, of Pascola, Fla., and Rebecca Hardy, of Lake Wales, Fla.; one son, Jerry James and wife, Tami, of Clarkton, Mo.; three brothers, Charles Secrest, of Sweetwater, Tenn., Benny Secrest, of Fayetteville, N.C., and John Secrest, of Atwater, Calif.; six sisters, Miriam Posey, of Dunnellon, Fla., Martha Bush, of Sweetwater, Linda Tumblin, of Aubundale, Fla., Helen Webb, of Leesburg, Fla., Cheryl Baker and Dorothy Wallace, both of Ocala, Fla. and 18 grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Davida, Stevie, Trevor, Sean, Sarah, Beau, Joey and Zachary Williams, Scottie Hitt, Amanda and Travis Hardy, Nicki, Mariah, Josh and Cheyenne Medlin and Scott Dollins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Secrest.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 30, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Bartholomew officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
