Imogene Watson, 72, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Jan. 16, 1936, in Malden, daughter of the late Charlie and Vinie Vincent Hampton, she was of the Pentecostal faith.
On Aug. 16, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married J.C. Watson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Terrell, Rose Mary Kean, Maxine Strong and Helen Rice; three brothers, Eugene, Junior and Doyle Hampton.
Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Nelson and husband, Benny, Judy Fernandez and Lee Ann Hastings and husband, James, all of Malden and Rhonda Barnes and husband, Mike, of Dexter, Mo.; one son, J.E. Watson and wife, Kathy, of Bernie, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon, Thursday, March 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 27, in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden with the Rev. Roger Fowler officiating.
