Jerry Don Lovelace, 67, of Hughes, Ark., died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Crittenden Regional Medical Hospital in West Memphis, Ark.
Born Oct. 8, 1940, in Steele, Mo., son of the late Henry and Ethel Woodard Lovelace, he was a graduate of Steele High School, and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rites and the Shriner Moolah Shrine Temple in St. Louis, Mo.
On Dec. 4, 1985, in Steele, he married Marie Watson Littlejohn, who survives.
Survivors also include two brothers, Bill Lovelace, of Piggott, Ark., and Henry "Sonny" Lovelace, of West Virginia; one sister, Marjorie Crawford, of Memphis, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at the Powell Funeral Home in Steele.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at the Powell Funeral Home chapel with Bill Lovelace officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
