Darlene Jackson of Kennett and Randy Jackson of Steele, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Jackson to Chris Emmons, son of Larry and Lora Emmons of Holcomb, Mo.

The bride to be is a 2004 graduate of Kennett High School and is in the teachers program at Southeast Missouri State University. She is currently employed at Mitchell Drug Store in Kennett.

She is the granddaughter of Huel and Marjorie Jackson of Kennett and the late Clayde and Asliene Lomax of Kennett.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Holcomb High School. He is self-employed as a farmer.

He is the grandson of Leo and Lois Emmons of Holcomb and the late Vinis Kelly, Sr., and Francis Kelly of Gideon, Mo.

The wedding will take place June 7, 2008, at Thorn Crown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark.
