Cooper, who is going to play football at Kansas State this fall, earned the honor in basketball as he led the Indians to a regular-season conference co-championship and a district title in Class 2, District 1.
He is joined on the first team by teammates Jamestic Gooden and Jerome Covington. Also making the first team are Kennett's Jarvis Finley and Tevin Hampton, the Malden duo of Leonard Burton and Nick Perkins, South Pemiscot's Kaleb Canoy and Maurichio Clay, along with Byron Wright from Portageville.
Jim Vaughan was named the conference's Coach of the Year after coaching Kennett to the Bootheel Conference Tournament championship and also directing a six-game improvement for the Tribe this season.
