Addie Myron Via, 86, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Craighead County Nursing Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Nov. 28, 1921, in Senath, daughter of the late V.R. and Willie Raines Harden, she was a secretary at McDaniel Funeral Home and a member of the Senath First United Methodist Church.
On July 25, 1940, in Salem, Mo., she married Dalton Via, who preceded her in death on May 26, 2001. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, V.R. Harden, Jr., James Harden and Joe Glenn Harden.
Survivors include two daughters, Addelyn Via, of Jonesboro and Carolyn Karnes and husband, Denny, of Hazelwood, Mo.; one grandchild, Tracye Bryant, of Louisville, Ky.; two great-grandchildren, Dan and Kate Coburn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., today, Wednesday, March 19, at the McDainel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Gene Speight officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Odle, Tommy Joe Chandler, Joe Lynn Harden, Joe Dickens, Kenny Karnes and John David Raines.
Honorary pallbearers were Gene Slinkard, Junior Kelley, Jimmie Don Odle, T.Z. Buck, Jon Robinson, Danny Faulk, Virgil Tyner and Randy Webster.
