Lois E. Braden, 93, of Kennett, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Oct. 25, 1914, near Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late James William and Gertrude Ratledge Belisle, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett.
She married J.J. Walpole, who preceded her in death. She later married Everett Braden, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Demetra Ann Walpole and two brothers, Herbert and Glen Belisle.
Survivors include two sons, Limual John Walpole and wife, Sharon, of Olive Branch, Miss., and Everett Braden, Jr., and wife, Jeanie, of Roanoke, Va.; one daughter, Mary Elouise Reed and husband, Richard, of Roanoke; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 17, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
