Bonnie B. Kegley, of Farmington, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 97 years. She was born on Dec. 5, 1910, in Virgil, Kan., the daughter of the late Rufus and Jenny Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Kegley; a granddaughter, Vicki Hoffman and a niece, Mary White Lasley.
Mrs. Kegley was a true homemaker, always putting her family first. They will miss her with all their hearts. That includes her two daughters, Pat Rorex and husband, Charles, and Ruth Ann Foot, all of Farmington; five grandchildren, Leanna and husband, Dr. William Johnson, of Farmington, Tara Bone and husband, Rodney, of Richmond Heights, Deborah Pinkley and husband, Jay, of Farmington, Roy Foot, of Bismarck, and Cynthia Foot-Ruhmann and husband, Eric, of Farmington; 12 great-grandchildren; a niece, Verna Charlton, of Kennett. Several other relatives and friends also survive.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., today, Tuesday, March 18, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. A graveside service followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Memorials may be given to the Huckstep Rehabilitation Center at Camelot Nursing Center, 705 Grand Canyon Dr., Farmington, Mo. 63640.
