Ellen Redwine

Ellen Redwine, 90, of Kennett, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born March 27, 1917, in Dyer County, Tenn., daughter of the late Walter Earl and Grace Nell Taylor Bizzle, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett.

On Jan. 17, 1937, she married Harry Redwine, who preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1970. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Redwine; one sister, Virginia Kirksey and two brothers, Ralph and Robert Bizzle.

Survivors include one brother, Bobby Bizzle, of St. Louis, Mo.; four sisters, Alice Cain, of Caruthersville, Mo., Kay Allgier, of Kennett, Betty Smithson, of Kansas City, Mo., and Shirley Hocott, of Jackson, Miss.; a daughter-in-law, Linda Redwine, of Kennett and sisters-in law, Alicia Bizzle, of Caruthersville and Doris Bizzle, of Arkansas.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 300 St. Francis St., Kennett, Mo. 63857.
