Louise Davis, 90, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Bragg City, Mo., died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Madison Jackson Medical Center in Jackson.

Born Jan. 25, 1918, in Alamo, Tenn., daughter of the late Lee and Teddie Carter Privett, she was a cook at Kennett School.

On Dec. 9, 1940, in Cottonwood, Mo., she married Jeff Davis, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, Otis and Horace Privett and two sisters, Morine Abbott and Hazel Clark.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Davis and wife, Wilma, of Lead Hill, Ark.; two daughters, Elaine Crafton, of Memphis, Tenn., and Micky Johnson and husband, Don, of Jackson, Tenn.; one sister, Laverne Privett, of St. Ann, Mo.; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Friday, March 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, at the Bragg City Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele, Mo.

Pallbearers are Jeff and Ben Crafton, Scott Johnson, Bart Walls, Randy McConnell and Eric Davis

Honorary pallbearers are Tim and Jeffrey Crafton and Trevor and Kyle McConnell.
