Ollie McLugen

Ollie Bessie MaLugen, 98, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at the Caruthersville Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 6, 1909, in Lexington, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Henry Rogers and Bessie Scott Brandon.

She married Carthel M. MaLugen, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, B.F. "Hot" Rogers.

Survivors include one brother, Edward Lee Brandon, of Norfolk, Va.; and three nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery.
