Ginger Sparks Couch, 68, of Little Rock, Ark., died March 9th, 2008, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 9th, 1939 in Jonesboro, Ark., to Virginia and John Sparks. She made her home in Little Rock and was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don Couch and her son John Hix.

Survivors include her children, Robert and Paige Hix of Fayetteville, Ark., Peter and Lisa Couch of Hot Springs, Ark., and Cynthia and Paul Sullentrop of Wichita, Kan.; brother and sister-in-law Towny and Janice Sparks of Kennett, and their children Towny Sparks, Jr. and Tracy Ellis. She is also survived by her beautiful grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Adam, and Jennings Hix, Trey and Emily Couch, and Molly, Ben, and Jake Sullentrop.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 13th, at Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock with Msgr. Hebert officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Grisham and Jake Morse of Jonesboro, Joel Ledbetter, Jim Darr, and Don Colaianni of Little Rock, and David Banks of Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Cancer Research Center or Circle of Life Hospice.
