Michael Mize

Michael Mize, 54, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, in Dunklin County, Mo.

Born Aug. 6, 1953, in North Kansas City, Mo., son of the late Richard B. and Eleanor Jean Faucett Mize, he was a carpenter and attended Kinfolks Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Mize and wife, Shelly, of Caruthersville and Zachariah Mize, of Mayview, Mo.; two brothers, Doug Mize, of Kansas City and Rick Mize, of Carthage, Mo.; one sister, Becky Chatlos, of Liberty, Mo., and two grandchildren, Anya and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Mize.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
