Nadine Parker, 87, of Kennett, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 6, 1920, in Hornersville, Mo., daughter of the late John C. and Myrtle Boler Pounds, she was a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ.

In July of 1977, she married Henry Parker, who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1995. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Wheeler and Brenda Parker; three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Parker and wife, Phyllis, of Senath, Mo., and Keith Parker and wife, Debbie, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a son-in-law, Jeff Wheeler, of Kennett; four granddaughters, Melinda Jones, of Senath, Paula Johnson, of Germantown, Tenn., Kim Wheeler, of Memphis, Tenn., and Annell Parker, of Monroe, La.; one grandson, Michael Parker, of Chattanooga; three great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Family members served as pallbearers.
