Pearl Grimes

Pearl Pauline Grimes, 91, of Malden, Mo., died Monday, March 3, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Malden.

Born Nov. 30, 1916, at Chattanooga, Okla., daughter of the late Oliver Knox and Bessie Irene Thomas Posey, she was a member of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden,

On Nov. 24, 1934, in Malden, she married Cletus Orman Grimes, who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1990. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Posey.

Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Hester and husband, Dee, of Malden and Bette Keene and husband, Mike, of Madison, Ala.; one son, Michael Grimes and wife, Kay, of Charleston, Mo.; one brother, Tom Posey, of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Thursday, March 6, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Hargrave and Don Crockett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.

Memorials may be made to the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden.
