Henry Musgraves

Henry Lee Musgraves, 70, of Bernie, Mo., died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Born Dec. 25, 1937, in Dyersburg, Tenn., he was the son of the late Luther and Annie Mar Taylor Musgraves.

On Feb. 27, 1968, he married Mary Jean Thomas, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Betty Patterson, of Hollywood, Fla.; five sons, J.C. Patterson, Jr., and Leon Lee Thomas, both of Malden, Mo., Edward Patterson, of Bernie, Mo., Henry Joe Thomas, of Kennett and Johnny Musgraves, of Rolla, Mo.; one brother, Guy Lee Musgraves, of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Nattie Mae Musgraves, of Dyersburg and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one infant son; two brothers, Eddie Gene Musgraves and Luther Musgraves, Jr., and four sisters, Janie Mae Dixon, Nannie Mae and Willie Mae Musgraves and Mozella Hall.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, March 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.
