Anita Elizabeth Sims, 42, of Homestown, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.

Born April 22, 1965, in Battle Creek, Mich., she was the daughter of Samuel Morris Sims and Juanita Jennings.

Survivors include two sons, Demone Coleman, of Chicago, Ill., and Samuel Boomie Sims, of Portageville, Mo.; her mother, Juanita Jennings, of Portageville; her father, Samuel Sims, of Homestown; three brothers, Ervin Joe Jennings and wife, Joyce, of Denver, Colo., Cleveland Jay Sims and wife, Carmella, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Samuel M. Sims and wife, Staci, of Homestown and four sisters, Patricia Sims, of Yazoo City, Miss., Ramona Sims, of Chicago, Janice Sims, of Denver and Samantha Sims, of Homestown.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, March 7, at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, March 7, at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmual Loftin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Homestown Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Bryant Sims and Gregory, Ricky, Vernon, Lyman and Bobby Jennings.

Honorary pallbearers are Demone Coleman, Samuel "Boomie" Sims, Ervin "Joe" Jennings, Cleveland "Jay" Sims and Samuel M. Sims, Jr.

Brimhall Funeral Home in Wardell, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
