Opal Williams, 89, of Kennett, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Jan. 7, 1919, in Malden, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Edward Lee and Lou Cinda Riggs Sneed.

On Nov. 5, 1977, she married Ronald G. Williams, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Sterlin, John, Ozro, Elmo and Joe, and eight sisters, Beatrice, Irene, Bessie, Evy, Louise, Margaret, Hazel and Mozell.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett .

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Harrison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Rodger Privett, Joe Hamlett, Chase Smith, Terry Magouirk, and Jasper and Alva Shirley.
