Born July 13, 1925, in Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of Joseph Boyd and Lillie Mae Moffett Lancaster, she was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Risco and Rural Independence Club of Risco.
On Dec. 21, 1943, in Parma, Mo., she married A.B. Ward, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Gary Lee Ward and wife, Linda, of Bolivar, Mo.; one daughter, Kaye Richardson and husband, Larry, of North Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Martha Gatlin, of Paragould, Ark.; three brothers, James and Gene Lancaster, both of Risco and Frank Lancaster, of Houston, Texas and two grandsons, Adam Richardson, of Little Rock, Ark., and Cullen Richardson, of Hong Kong, China.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lancaster.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., today, Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden
