Dora Mae Jones, 84, of Senath, Mo., formerly of Hornersville, Mo., died, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the Senath Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 13, 1923, in Manila, Ark., daughter of the late John Martin Denbow and Margaret Elizabeth Carter, she was a member of the Buckeye Community Baptist Church.
On Jan. 9, 1943, in Manila, she married Nathan Jones, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1971. She was also preceded in death by one son, Charles Jones and five brothers, Eddie and Elvis Denbow and Jessie, Clyde and Allen Gordon.
Survivors include three sons, Bob and Wade Jones, both of Hornersville, and Elvis Jones, of Doniphan, Mo.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 25, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Hornersville with Bro. David Powell officiating.
Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Greg, Travis, Eddie and Robert Jones, Jeff Hyatt and Dennis Biby.
Honorary pallbearer was Tim Reed.
