Born Dec. 7, 1938, in Sikeston, Mo., son of the late Roy and Virginia Mae Wallace, he was in the National Guard and of the Baptist faith. He was employed at Sterlings, Magic Mart and Wal-Mart in Kennett. He was a former member of the Lions Club, Kiwanis, Paragould Pilot Association and J.T. Dive Scuba Association.
He married Billie Latham, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Kim and Rachel Wallace, both of Blytheville; two sons, Randy Wallace and wife, Cindy, and Jonathan Wallace, all of Blytheville; three grandchildren, Sydney Wallace, of Paragould, Bryan Pillow and Daniel Nelson, both of Blytheville and two great-grandchildren, Anna Kaye Pillow, of Burdette, Ark., and Kyleigh Grace Boone, of Paragould.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Etta Mothershead; his step-mother, Mattie Wallace and a grandson, Bradley Pillow.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Bros. Ricky Forbis, Mike Welch and Bob Kary officiating.
Burial was in the Memory Garden Cemetery at Blytheville.
