Faye Maxine Nunnery

Faye Maxine Nunnery, 88, of Sherwood, Ark., formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Sherwood.

Born Sept. 20, 1919, in Selmer, Tenn., daughter of the late Johnson and Mamie Emmons Channell, she was a homemaker, a rental property manager and a member of the Second Baptist Temple in Caruthersville.

On July 1, 1939, in Caruthersville, she married Lilbern "Mack" Nunnery, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Lilbern M. "Pete" Nunnery, Jr.; one sister, Virginia Huckaba and one brother, Wayne Channell.

Survivors include one son, Patrick Lee Nunnery and wife, Ginger, of Jacksonville, Ark.; three sisters, Margie Woods, of Caruthersville, Francis Koplien, of Palm Springs, Calif. and Marie Hodge, of Fullerton, Calif.; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 15, at the H.S. Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating.

Burial was in Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
