Erlene Mansfield

A. Erlene Wade Mansfield, 81, of Frankenmuth, Mich., died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008.

Born March 29, 1926, in Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Etta Wade, she taught reading to elementary age children.

In 1965, she married Richard A. Mansfield, who survives.

Survivors also include two sisters, Mary Margaret Holliday, of Memphis, Tenn., and Lastine Owens, of Caruthersville.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 11, at the Wesleyan Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were family friends.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
