William Barnett

William Barnett, 51, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Sept. 1, 1956, in Pemiscot County, son of Leslie Barnett and the late Marie Coble Barnett, he was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include two sisters, Hattie and Brenda Barnett; five brothers, Omzy, James, Jerry, Charles and Danny Barnett and his father, Leslie Barnett.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 8, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. John Stepp officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Billy, Marvin Lee and Jonathan Barnett, Kenneth Cook, Wilbur Kenney and Harvey Gibson.
