Jeffery Glen Short, 49, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Ark.

Born April 14, 1958, in Cardwell, Mo., son of Peggy Renfrow Short and the late Glen E. "Sonny" Short, he was a 1976 graduate of Southland High School.

Survivors include his mother, Peggy Short, of Arbyrd; his grandmother, Clara Renfrow, of Arbyrd and several aunts and uncles and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 11, at the First Baptist Church in Arbyrd with the Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.

Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gene and Gary Renfrow, Lester and Kenny Forbs, Robert and Mark Burgess, Ronald Higgins and Kendal Estes.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Arbyrd was in charge of arrangements.
