Wanda Shriver

Wanda Foley Shriver, 82, of New Madrid, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

Born July 3, 1925, in Bernie, Mo., daughter of the late William Leonard and Hazel Essie Lovejoy Cato, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

On Dec. 1943, in Piggott, Ark., she married Richard Foley, who preceded her in death on June 8, 1973. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Springs; one son, James Allan Foley; one sister, Aline Oakley and one brother, Dick Cato.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Cato and wife, Lois, of Malden, Ronnie Dale Foley and wife, Diane, of St. Paul, Mo., and Richard "Buggs" Foley and wife, Bonnie, of Versailles, Ky.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Rice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
