Jerry O. Stanley, 67, of Sikeston, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born Oct. 5, 1940, in Dunklin County, Mo., son of the late Cleo and Charity Geneva Jones Stanley, he was an electrical engineer.

On May 4, 2001, in Cherokee Village, Ark., he married Dorothy Bourassa, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Randal Stanley and wife, Jeana, of Westfield, N.J.; two daughters, Jurea Marr and husband, David, of Kansas City, Mo., and Jennifer Coday and husband, Johnny, of Harrisonville, Mo.; two brothers, Tommy G. Stanley, of Sikeston and Keith Stanley, of Qulin, Mo.; five sisters, Mariea Ellsworth, Sandra Corn and Gina Santie, all of Malden and Sharon Tackett, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Stanley.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at the St. Teresa Catholic Church in Glennonville, Mo., with Father Glenn Eftink officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
