Alice Maxine Rowton, 81, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 26, 1926, in Vicksburg, Miss., daughter of the late John and Julia Wright Naile, she was a homemaker and a member of the Abiding Peace Temple in Kennett.
On Oct. 25, 1993, in Vicksburg, she married Everett Marvin Rowton, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Michael Binkley and wife, Sandy, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Kevin Binkley and wife, Debbie, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Brian Binkley, of Aurora, Ill.; one daughter, Debbie Gabe and husband, Chris, of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Oma Lee Naile, of Kennett and Jewell Naile Wiggins, of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gaylon Binkley; two brothers, Jadie and Ralph Naile and two sisters, Ionia Gonzalea and Gladys Carnell.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Dan Leggett officiating.
