Jackie Wayne Horton, 68, of Mt. View, Ark., formerly of Blytheville, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Springfield, Mo.
Born Aug. 21, 1939, in New Survey, Mo., son of Jesse Wible and Hayrue Autry Horton, he was self-employed and a collector of replica cars, tractors and antiques.
On Aug. 26, 1956, he married Barbara Jean Yarbrough, who preceded him in death on May 23, 2001. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Harold Horton.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Dockery Glover Horton; two sons, Gator and Colton Chase Horton; three daughters, Cheryl Denice Ray, Angie Beach and Jeannie Desiree Horton; his parents Jesse W. and Hayrue Horton; one sister, Barbara Ann Graham; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Abiding Peace Temple in Kennett with the Rev. Mike Autry officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Gator and Colton Horton, Glen Ray, Clay Bernard, Brandon Smith, Harrison Allen and Jim Beach.
Honorary pallbearers are Clayton Watkins and Billy Autry.
