Born Sept. 5, 1915, in Kennett, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII and the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was employed as a claims adjuster for the Washington State Department of Employment Services.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon; one brother, Arthur Russell; one sister, Marjorie and two grandsons, Kyle and Craig.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois and one brother, Merl.
No services were held.
He is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery at Everett.
