Hear ye, Hear ye. This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice in it. There is a season for all things and winter was the season of death for the son of Leonard "Tee" Younger and the late Virgie Younger of Kennett. Their son, Charles "Fireball", 63 years old, departed this earth and entered into the spiritual transition at 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in Chicago, Ill., at Jackson Park Hospital.
He leaves to cherish his life his devoted family, father, Leonard Younger, of Kennett; his wife, Valerie, of Chicago; children, Kenney, Michelle and Brian, all of Chicago; seven grandchildren; six sisters, his twin, Virgie Irene Ross, of Chicago, Beverly Alford, of Kennett, Patra Aikens, of Buffalo, N.Y., Denise Johnson, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Annette Williams and Myrtle Younger, of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Ralph Gilmer, of Blytheville, Ark., and Dennis Younger, of Los Angeles, Calif., and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at Original Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Chicago, Ill.
Callahan Funeral Home in Chicago is in charge of arrangements.
