Wanda Lee Gatewood Hardin, 79, of Marmaduke, Ark., died Jan. 15, 2008 at her residence.

Born in Lafe, Ark., daughter of the late James and Nancy Belle Beaton Stephens, she was a member of the Gravel Hill General Baptist Church but attended the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Gatewood and wife, Sondra, of Raleigh, N. C., Larry Gatewood and wife, Brenda, of Kennett, and Mike Gatewood, of Batesville, Ark.; two daughters, Deanna Dover, of Rogers, Ark., and Tricia Hedrick and husband, Mark, of Cabot, Ark.;, three step-children: Ted Hardin, of Jonesboro, Ark., Steve Hardin, of Corning, Ark., and Lisa Goodpasture, of Maumelle, Ark.; two brothers: Thelbert Stephens and Eugene Stephens, both of Paragould; four sisters: Alma Smith, of Senath, Mo., Catherine Gerdes, of Jonesboro, Velma Smith, of Marmaduke and Loretta Smith, of Paragould, Ark.; eleven grandchildren, Chris, Heather, Ashley, Jeff, Eric, Tyler, Morgan, Christine, Dillon, Hillary and Zac; five great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvel Gatewood and George Hardin; two brothers, Vernon and James "Ras" Stephens and two sisters, Arlene Ragle and Iva Jamison.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Thursday, Jan. 17 at the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18 at the Marmaduke First Baptist Church with Brother Kim Bridges officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery at St. Francis, Ark.

Memorials may be made to the Marmaduke First Baptist Church to the Future Needs Fund.
