Myrtle Dickens, 71, of Clarkton, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at her residence.

Born Aug. 8, 1936, in Beckley, W.V., daughter of the late Sherman and Doshie Adkins Workman, she was employed at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Mo. and was of the Baptist faith.

She married Paul Coleman, who preceded her in death on April 21, 1985. On Aug. 6, 1989, in Campbell, she married Lloyd "Doc" Dickens, who survives.

Survivors also include a step-son, Marvin Mills, of St. Genevieve, Mo.; a step-daughter, Wanda Mills; sisters-in-law, Mary Melton, of Arkansas and Donna Dickens, of Campbell and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Vinson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elder Cemetery at Campbell.
