Nellie Faye Haven, 82, of Wardell, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.
Born Nov. 1, 1925, in Decater, Tenn., daughter of the late Lacie Jones and Vera Morgan, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wardell.
On Oct. 27, 1945, in Kennett, she married Charles Henry Roy Haven, who preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1971. She was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Haven; two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Haven, of Pascola, Mo.; seven daughters, Carolyn Sawyers, Donna White and husband, Larry, Debbie Miller and Shelby Haven, all of Wardell, Cathy Haven, of Lilbourn, Mo., Patricia DeRouse and husband, Terry, of Hayward, Mo., and Anita Haven, of Pascola; one sister, Sue Jordan, of Parsons, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, at the First Baptist Church in Wardell with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Wardell Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike, Larry and Bobby Jones and Ricky, Wayne and Dale Rhoades.
Honorary pallbearers were Richie and Wayne Jones.
Brimhall Funeral Home of Wardell was in charge of arrangements.
