Eddie Risinger

Eddie Harold Risinger, 74, of Cardwell, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at his residence.

Born in Cardwell, son of the late Lawrence and Tishie Sissom Risinger, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He served as alderman for the city of Cardwell, Mo., and was a member of Hornersville Masonic Lodge No. 215, the Kennett Masonic Lodge No. 68, and a member of the Cardwell First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Garner Risinger; one brother, James Risinger, of N. Ft. Myers, Fla.; one granddaughter, Kelli Randall, of Manchester, Tenn., and one great-granddaughter, Cameron Randall, of Manchester.

He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Risinger and one brother, Melvin Risinger.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 14, at the First Baptist Church in Cardwell with the Rev. David Powell officiating.

Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.

Howard Funeral Service in Leachville, Ark., was in charge of arrangements.
