Stanley Sprouse, 53, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Kennett.

Born Sept. 2, 1954, in Dunklin County, Mo., son of Alfred and Katheryn Brandon Sprouse, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in Vietnam.

On Feb. 14, 2004, in Piggott, Ark., he married Donna England, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, David Sprouse and wife, Patricia, of Springfield, Mo.; two step-sons, Terry Blue and wife, Jessica, of Beaumont, Texas and Codie Blue, of Irvin, Texas; one daughter, Monica Simmons and husband, George, of Ozark, Mo.; two step-daughters, Heather Samples and husband, Jesse, and Erin Owens and husband, Chris, all of Kennett; his parents, Alfred H. and Katheryn Sprouse, of Bragg City; two brothers, Lloyd Sprouse, of Rosenberg, Texas and Gary Sprouse, of Holcomb, Mo., and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan., 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Craig Reed, Chris Owens, Jesse Samples, Jason Willet, Perry Tucker and George Simmons.
