Jerry Stillman

Judge Jerry Claud Stillman, 68, of Kennett, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at his residence.

Born Jan. 23, 1939, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of the late Alton and Mary McIntosh Stillman, he was a Judge, a member of the Kennett Lions Club and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Kennett.

On June 18, 1960, in Cardwell, Mo., he married Linda Jane Rutherford, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Joe Alton Stillman, of Kennett; one daughter, Suzanne Knoblich, of Wildwood, Mo.; one brother, Kneibert Stillman, of Holcomb, Mo.; one sister, Janet Bean, of Holcomb, and six grandchildren, Thomas, Anna, Joseph, Sara Jane, John David and Andrew.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 7, at the First Christian Church in Kennett with the Rev. Dustin Morris officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
