Thelma Marie Marret, 82, of Monette, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at Monette Manor.

Born March 22, 1925, in Hollywood, Mo., daughter of the late Avery and Myrtle Wilmoth, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She married J.R. Marret II, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Brent Marret; one brother, Buel Wilmoth and two sisters, Joan Wilmoth and Dian Jacobs.

Survivors include two sons, John Marret, of Corning, Ark., and Jim Marret and wife, Elaine, of Sikeston, Mo.; one brother, Euell "Bud" Wilmoth, of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandsons, Tony Marret, of Jacksonville, Ark., Matt Marret, of Benton, Mo., Josh Marret, of Charleston, Mo., Chad Marret, of Pocahontas, Ark., Adam Maret, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Brit Bippus, of Corning; two granddaughters, Christi Marret, of Sherwood, Ark., and Jessica Bippus, of Corning and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Friday, Dec. 21, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Cockrum Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
