Mary Joann McCleskey, 64, of Malden, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born Jan. 18, 1943, in Malden, daughter of the late Junior Levere Hampton and Mary Edmondson Lovelace, she was employed at Federal Mogul in Malden and was of the Protestant faith.

On July 7, 1957, in Senatobia, Miss., she married James Clyde McCleskey, who preceded her in death on March 29, 1998. She was also preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Judd, of Malden and Karla Banks, of North Carolina; one sister, Phyllis Phillips, of Malden; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with James Powell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery First Addition at Malden.
